On September 16th, Odessa Ukraine will host the 3rd national festival of poetry. It is held annually and is dedicated to the famous Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin.
The organizer of the festival is International Forum for Russian Poetry. Its head is Mr. Oleg Borushko.

An exhibition of flowers took place on Primorsky Boulevard. It was dedicated to the 216 anniversary of the city and featured various compositions made of flowers of all kinds.

On August 26th, a new exhibition of photography will be introduced to Odessa, Ukraine. It is called “The charm of old Odessa” and is dedicated to the 216th anniversary of the city.
The exhibition will be held in Odessa City Council and will feature photographs made by famous artists, Sergey Geveluk and Igor Polyakov.

The “Prayer for Ukraine,” pan-Odessa event, dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine, will be held in the city on August 24th.
Representatives of all religions practised in Odessa will participate in the action, which is scheduled to start at 12 a.m. on Primorsky Boulevard near the monument to Duke de Richelieu.
Since Odessa Day is approaching, the city’s government is actively engaged into preparations. On August 23, 19-meter high flag of Ukraine will be raised above the Potemkin Stairs.
The event is also linked to the Independence Day of Ukraine. A festive program has also been developed by the city government.
