The jury of the international movie festival unanimously ageed to name the film “Persons under 16…” by Andrey Kavun the winner of the festival.

The festival will last for 9 days (July 16-24), which will feature:
- the Red Carpet ceremony near Odessa Opera Theater
- the grand opening in Odessa Opera Theater
- movie shows in numerous Odessa cinema halls
- the closing ceremony in Odessa Opera Theater

International Movie Festival will be held in Odessa, Ukraine on July 16-24th.
The opening ceremony of the festival will be held on Friday, July 16th, in Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. The following 8 days will see various foreign movies shown in Odessa cinema theaters.
The closing ceremony and the award ceremony will be held on July 24th in Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
The major aims of the festival are to promote Ukrainian art and cinematography as well as to introduce the city to foreign cultures.
In the run up to the 65 anniversary of the Victory Day, Odessa Government in cooperation with Cultural Center “Slobodka” organizes a movie festival, which will last from April, 9th to May, 7th.
The movies will be shown in Cultural Center “Slobodka,” located on 6, Vorobieva street.
The program of the festival features such films as: “Port,” “Champagne spatters,” “Cranes are flying,” and others.
Tickets are free of charge.
