A. Pushkin Festival – September, 16

On September 16th, Odessa Ukraine will host the 3rd national festival of poetry. It is held annually and is dedicated to the famous Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin.

The organizer of the festival is International Forum for Russian Poetry. Its head is Mr. Oleg Borushko.

Archeology – August 14

On August, 14th, Odessa is to hold traditional youth festival in Shevchenko Park.

The festival is called “Archeology” and aims to examine various ethnicities. Local games, concerts and master classes will be held in tehe framework of the festival.

The event will start at 11 a.m. and will last till 10 p.m.

Kavun Won the “Golden Duke” Award

The “Golden Duke” Award will leave Odessa, Ukraine, for Russia.

The jury of the international movie festival unanimously ageed to name the film “Persons under 16…” by Andrey Kavun the winner of the festival.

Let us remind that the first international movie festival was held in Odessa for 9 days (July 16-24).

Day of Youth in Odessa

This year, the Day of Youth will be widely celebrated in Odessa, Ukraine. The program of the celebration is meant for 8 days.

It all started on June, 25th with  the cinema workshop organized by Johnny O’Raily. The end of the celebration is planned for July, 5th, when the award ceremony of the “Student Republic” festival will be held.

Other events held during these 8 days include rock festivals, sports competitions, fairs, concerts, hip-hip shows, and much more.
