Near Far East – August, 30

On August 30th, a new project is being launched in Odessa, Ukraine. It is called the “Near Far East” and is dedicatd to the Far East and Japan in particular.

The exhibition features art works owned by A.V. Bleshunov and “Kandinsky” art center.

The exhibition will last till September, 16th. You can get more detailed information about the project’s schedule at the official website of Odessa.

Painting Exhibition – September 1

On September 1st, Odessa, Ukraine will host the grand opening of a painting exhibition.

It is dedicated to the city’s anniversary and will feature numerous works created by pupils of Haifa’s schools. Haifa, Israel, is Odessa sister city.

The exhibition will be opened at 2 p.m. at 51, Pushkinskaya street.

Art Exhibition – August 31

On August, 31st Odessa Municipal Art Gallery will host a paiting exhibition dedicated to the city’s 216th anniversary.

“Odessa’s Artists – to the Native City” exhibition will feature over 30 works created by Odessa painters in various genres.

The exhibition will be open for 1 month, till September, 31.

Cats and Yards – July 29

Yesterday, on July 29th, a fun exhibition of photographs made by Sasha Levitsky and Gena Chaban was introduced to Odessa, Ukraine.

The exhibition is dedicated to cats and yards of the city. It is open on weekdays till August 12th.

Everybody’s welcome to attend the exhibition at 43, Troitskaya street.

G. Pavlyuk Exhibition – July 28

Yesterday, on July 28th, the personal exhibition of Galina Pavlyuk was introduced to Odessa City Hall.

The grand opening took place at 12 a.m. in the foyer of the building.

Over 20 pieces of work created during the year of 1989-2009 are presented at the exhibition, which will last till August, 18.

Odessa visitors and citizens are invited to attend the exhibition.

J. Ostrovsky Exhibition – July 22-August 24

On July 22nd, Odessa Museum of Contemporary Art will host an exhibition  of Joseph Ostrovsky, which will last till August 24th.

The works presented at the exhibition are originally owned by private collectors and Odessa museums.

The exhibition will also feature Joseph’s biography and press releases associated with his work.

Demoauto – Odessa, July 24-25

This International Auto Exhibition, “Demoauto,” will be held at the Sea Station on July 24-25.

Participants will present retro automobiles, sports cars, as well as latest tuning and sound technologies.

Odessa Art School Exhibition, July 1

Tomorrow, on July 1st, the opening of “Odessa, I love you!” exhibition will take place in the Center of Bulgarian Culture. The authors of the works are students of Odessa Art School – the oldest art school in the country.

The grand opening of the exhibition is planned for 5 p.m.

Center of Bulgarian Culture is located at 9, Vice-admiral Zhukov alley.

Icons’ Exhibition by M. Korsak

Yesterday, on June 22nd, the opening of Margarita Korsak exhibition took place in Odessa City Council.

Her exhibition of icons, graphic images made in the icon painting technique, landscapes, and other religious works will last till July 12, 2010.
