Odessa Council of Architecture will discuss the construction of the bar “At Sea” on the 14 station of the Big Fountain.

Special beaches for disabled people have been developed by Odessa government in the framework of the “Equality” program. They are situated on the 11 station of the Big Fountain, in the aqua park Luzanovka and on the Dolphin beach.
Special buses are available for those diabled people who wish to go to the Dolphin beach.

On August 26th, a new exhibition of photography will be introduced to Odessa, Ukraine. It is called “The charm of old Odessa” and is dedicated to the 216th anniversary of the city.
The exhibition will be held in Odessa City Council and will feature photographs made by famous artists, Sergey Geveluk and Igor Polyakov.
The exhibition will be open till September 10th, so you have more than 2 weeks to enjoy the beatiful works.
The official program of the festival dedicated to the 216th Anniversary of Odessa has been approved by the city government.
The celebrations will start on August 26th and will last all the way through September 10th. They will include various theater performances, concerts, exhibitions, festivals, parades, cinema shows and many other events that you are welcome to attend.

The “Prayer for Ukraine,” pan-Odessa event, dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine, will be held in the city on August 24th.
Representatives of all religions practised in Odessa will participate in the action, which is scheduled to start at 12 a.m. on Primorsky Boulevard near the monument to Duke de Richelieu.
Since Odessa Day is approaching, the city’s government is actively engaged into preparations. On August 23, 19-meter high flag of Ukraine will be raised above the Potemkin Stairs.
The event is also linked to the Independence Day of Ukraine. A festive program has also been developed by the city government.
Tomorrow, on August 20th, Odessa will host a DJ’s parade. It will begin at 12 a.m. at Tolbukhin Square as DJs will be rallying from Krasnov street to Kulikovo field. The music show is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Similar parades will also be held in Kiev, Lvov and Dnepropetrovsk.
Tomorrow, on August 19th, the French cruiser Le Boreal will make a stop in Odessa, Ukraine.
According to the information privoded by Ms. Yakovleva, seaport manager, the 232 passengers will get off the cruiser at 7 a.m. to see major sites of Odessa. Their excusrion program will include Deribasovskaya street, Art gallery, Literature museum, and other famous places.
In an attempt to support Ukrainian bloggers, the city government of Odessa decided to hold a national conference this weekend.
On Friday, August 20th and Saturday, August 21st, the bloggers’ conference “Odessa Camp 2010″ will be held in the City Council and other locations of Odessa.
The press-conference is to be held 2 days earlier, on August 18th.
The aim of the conference is to discuss the ways bloggers and mass media representatives can affect the image of Odessa.
SV Development reported a fall in the values of apartments in Odessa, Ukraine.
It constituted 0.56% or $8 and resulted in the average price of $1 493 per 1 square meter.
The highest monthly decline was seen in the Tairovo district, where prices decreased by 0.66%. The lowest decline was seen in Kotovsky village district (0.26%). No changes in property values were registered in the Moldavanka district.
