“Altar of Nations” exposition of Ukrainian artist Oksana Mas opened on the Grecheskaya Square in Odessa, Ukraine. Thus Odessa became the first city in Ukraine that takes part in the international exhibition presentation of “Altar of Nations”.
According to Oksana Mas, the project re-creates Renaissance masterpiece, famous Ghent altar of Van Eyck brothers. It is made up of wooden egg-shaped modules depicting human passions, desires, hopes and dreams. The composition is made of several thousands of modules. The project is international, and by now in wooden parts painting residents of more than 42 countries were involved.
